SK233 control software

The ReactArray Control Software was designed by chemists from a number of leading pharmaceutical companies. The primary design objective has been to support maximum flexibility and usability. 5 Basic steps are performed to set up an experiment. The single path architecture guides you through the steps and because each is presented in a similar format, user familiarity builds rapidly.

STEP 1 - Configuration
Use wizards to set all method parameters. Select from a large range of rack options to locate reagent, solvents, reaction and analytical vials. Simply drag and drop commonly used liquids (Wash, Diluent, etc.) to any named location.

STEP 2 - Method Set Up
Click on dedicated Task Buttons to display a simple user dialogue for each task View your recipe and sampling protocol as you build it up for each reaction vessel Explorer type Recipe View - allows tasks to be dragged and dropped. Tasks can be quickly re-ordered. Multi-RV function - Apply a task to multiple reaction vessels with one click, or copy tasks from one RV to others.

New to v4 - Reactivate control from thermocouple / contents feedback
New to v4 - Flexi-sampling. Create your own flxible sampling protocol.

Multiple liquids can be added to the sample taken. A sequence of analytical vials can be introduced to add further flexibility with regards to how you process or work-up your samples.

STEP 3 - Error Checking
ReactArray automatically checks for time and volume errors. Comprehensive user information enables rapid corrective action. e.g. Red vessel indicates error location. Red task bar indicates time of error in schedule. Tooltip describes the error that has been detected to assist with corrective action. Solvent consumption calculator warns if method will exhaust any reagent positions and assist in making up the correct amount of an expensive reagent.

STEP 4 - Review The Schedule
Comprehensive scheduling ability optimises workstation resource to maximise efficiency and shorten run times.

On-line analysis can be performed: After each sampling event (Immediate Mode). When analysis system becomes available (Queued Mode). Graphical Scheduler displays the colour coded task bars for each reaction vessel. Time cursors allow the user to pin-point the time of execution of any task within the method

STEP 5 - Run The Experiment
Real-time status display for each reaction vessel. Graphical Scheduler tracks the progress of your method. Configuration view shows consumption of reagents. System colour coding confirms which samples have been taken.

New to v4 - Peak Tracker can monitor the changing peak size of any component of interest. A criteria can be set by the user. If this criteria is not met at a defined point in the run, ReactArray can instruct that reaction vessel to change temperature or a volume of liquid can be added to that vessel to effect the progress of that study.

New to v4 - Pause allows the end use to temporarily stop the running method to allow new tasks to be added or existing tasks to be updated. The resumed method is scheduled to ensure that all tasks are executed exactly as requested by the user. Now the ReactArray user can observe his method from real time feedback from the data manager or via visual checks of the reaction and make an informed change to the method.

New to v4 - Reaction Vessel stop. If it is clear that a specific reaction has failed or has gone to completion, that RV can be stopped. The rest of the method will continue unaffected.
