Since the product launch, ReactArray has established a role for greatly increasing the rate that studies can be carried out. For many users this has generated a data management bottleneck. As standard HPLC packages provide a third party association with ReactArray software, sample tracking is not secure and reaction profile plotting requires export to excel and the application of custom macros.
The ReactArray Group have now developed RDM, a software package dedicated for use with the ReactArray Workstation.
RDM's user interface is similar to the control software so further training requirements are minimised.
As RDM can control HPLC hardware, a single software interface is available to run all aspects of the study from recipe generation to profile interpretation.
STEP
1 - Generate A HPLC Method For Monitoring Your Compound
Use RDM to directly inject one or more known reference samples
Name your peaks of interest and press "Finish".
RDM stores the peak table together with HPLC control and analysis
parameters in a Project Folder*.
STEP
2 - Monitor Your Reactions
Open up your Project Folder*
Write your Workstation control method to define your studies
Press Go!
During the run RDM plots profiles of any named component from any reaction
vessel in real time.
STEP
3 - Interpret Your HPLC Data
RDM provides a reaction browser
Point & Click Compare chromatograms from the
same Reaction Vessel or same reaction time.
Point & Click Compare reaction profiles across
Reaction Vessels for any named component.
Point & Click Study temperature and stirring
trends for any Reaction Vessel. As these plots are dynamically linked
to the task scheduler, cause and effect can be established. (A Reagent
addition leading generating an exotherm for example).
